This November 28 is Giving Tuesday, a global initiative to promote charitable giving across the world. Now in its sixth year, this day devoted to goodness comes on the heels of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, encouraging us to dig deep in our wallets and give to the most deserving groups in our community. We at Currans Flowers offer a program that does this year round.

We call it Currans Cares, and it couldn’t be easier to use. As you’re shopping flowers online with us, simply click the Currans Cares drop down menu and a list of local organizations and institutions will be revealed. Choose your favorite, and we’ll make sure a donation is made to them after you check out. 

We love the idea of turning a personal gift of flowers to someone you love into a much broader act of giving that benefits our community. The groups we’ve partnered with are always in need of support, so while you’re sending that special someone a bouquet (for this time of year, we love our Roses and Berries arrangement), make sure you take advantage of the opportunity to help them out.
