Fresh Fall Updates From the Greenhouse at Currans Flowers
Welcome to Fall at Currans Flowers in Danvers, Massachusetts!
As we move deeper into the autumn season, the team at Currans Flowers is thrilled to invite you into our greenhouses. We’ve opened up our growing spaces to customers in order to encourage exploration and discovery (only one remains behind-the-scenes). We’ve also carved out an additional indoor foliage area in our main greenhouse, expanding space for the lush collection we’ve been nurturing, especially in response to the closure of our friendly neighbors, Kane’s.
We can’t wait for you to explore our blooming spaces and see firsthand what we’ve prepared for Fall 2025.
Committed to Healthy, Sustainable Growing
From the start, the ethos of our growing practices has been guided by our commitment to Integrated Pest Management (IPM). We choose biological “good guys” (beneficial insects and organisms) over spray applications, which means healthier plants, less chemical exposure, and a safer environment for pollinators.
To further enhance our sustainability, we’ve installed water‑conserving mats that automatically deliver water to each pot with minimal runoff. That keeps things tidy, reduces water waste, and helps prevent fungal breeding zones.
So when you wander through our greenhouses and take in the blooming scenery, rest assured, you’re walking through a space designed for thriving plants and ecological mindfulness.
What’s Blooming (and Soon Will Be)
One of the most joyful transitions each year is watching our greenhouse go from predominantly green to bursts of autumn color. We especially look forward to seeing cyclamen and mums share space with bright begonias and kalanchoe. When bromeliads open, their sculptural forms and vivid hues always turn heads. That moment when a new blossom unfolds? That’s what we live for.
Cyclamen: Our fall/winter crop is now coming into bloom, and it’s elegant, cheerfully colored, and ideal for brightening indoor corners.
Bright Flowers: We have indoor mums, kalanchoe, begonias, calla lilies, bromeliads, and more cyclamen stepping in to add the warm tones of fall throughout inside your home.
Foliage Favorites: From the summer season we’ve carried forward a strong lineup of foliage plants, including echeveria, ivy, polka dot plants, peperomia, pothos, sedum, tradescantia, and spider plants. Even without showy flowers, they bring texture, shape, health benefits, and beauty to your home or office.
Outdoor Mums: Planted over the summer, our mums are now starting to show color! You’ll find everything from petite 4‑inch pots to intermediate sizes and large bushel arrangements, ideal for patios, steps, or landscape layering.
More to Explore (Because You’ll Want to Stay a While)
Foliage, Succulents & Cacti Galore: Our expanded collection, especially in the new showroom zone, spans classic favorites and more unique selections.
Fall Decor Staples: We’ve sourced an extended range of pumpkins, gourds, cornstalks, and other autumnal accents — perfect for pairing with your plants and putting together a gorgeous display for your home or business.
Fall Installations: Our talented team member, Wally, is known for his stunning installations, combining plants, flowers, and accents with beautiful results. Stop by and see his artistry for yourself!
