Renowned color company Pantone has announced their pick for Color of the Year, and it’s Ultra Violet, an intriguing purple. We here at Currans Flowers are excited for this hue’s possibilities, mostly because we love a good purple flower but also because of what the color is supposed to signify. Pantone spends a lot of time coming up with it’s selection, meeting with other international color experts and thinking about what color will best embody the spirit of the times as well as look ahead to the future.

Purple is a majestic, meditative, mystical color, and it can be bold and vibrant, or soft and sweet. We love its range and power. Before you commit to an accent wall or a set of throw pillows, try a floral arrangement in this color. You’ll see its modern side as well as all of the ways it can be romantic.
