As we creep slowly into spring it’s reassuring to watch how quickly our Hydrangea crop has “sprung” into action.

Just about three weeks ago we placed dormant hydrangeas in our greenhouse.

We will have these hydrangea ready in time for Easter in April.

It may interest you to know that the word Hydrangea comes from a combination of Greek words.

Hydro meaning water & angeoin meaning vase.

Hydrangeas have been around for millions of years with fossils dating back 70 million years in North America & 25 million years in Asia.
